RFP 22 and RFP 24
DECT base station
RFP 22: the indoor base station
The DECT RFP 22 (Radio Fixed Part) base station is the fundamental building block for the creation of corporate DECT radio networks on OpenCom 100 and OpenCom 1000 systems. Each base station represents an individual radio cell in the company’s DECT radio network and has a radio range of up to 300 m. It’s connected and powered via the two-wire system interface with a range of 1,000 m. The RFP 22 provides four to eight simultaneous calls with one to two UPN interfaces.
RFP 24: the outdoor base station
The RFP 24 base station has all the features of the RFP 22, but has been specially developed for outdoor use. It offers ingress protection in compliance with the IP 55 standard. The RFP 24 can use a dipole or a directional antenna, depending on prevailing operating conditions.
