Aastra Intecom Releases Hosted Contact Center Solution

DALLAS, TEXAS (August 29, 2005) -- Aastra Intecom today announces availability of its Centergy® Virtual Contact Center solution which brings world class call center functionality to companies of all sizes.

The Centergy® Virtual Contact Center solution will be available both as a hosted contact center engine for carriers and managed service providers who will market the technology to small and medium businesses, as well as a premised-based system for multi-site enterprises. Scalable to 10,000 concurrent agents and 10,000 concurrent voice connections, Centergy® Virtual Contact Center offers a carrier-grade solution that is natively multi-tenant. Virtual contact center agent pools can be set up in real-time, no matter where the agents geographically reside.

For complete access to the Centergy® Virtual Contact Center features and functions, agents and supervisors need only a computer, an Internet connection, and a telephone capable of receiving a call. No other gateways, routers, or other devices are required.
